Clara Luzia & The Quiet Version

The award-winning Viennese songwriter shows her quiet side again with her new band;

In recent years, the Viennese songwriter and multiple Amadeus prizewinner has successively bowed out of seated concerts and concerts in decibel-sensitive environments with her regular band. However, since the demand for this has not diminished, there was only one thing to do: a new band was needed to take on the quieter side of Clara's oeuvre.

Judith Ferstl on double bass, Catharina Priemer-Humpel on drums, Kaya Meller on trumpet and Claudia Kottal on piano and voice provide a sometimes solid, sometimes fragile carpet of sound on which Clara Luzia makes herself comfortable. In addition to well-known and brand-new works from her own pen, the setlist includes one or two covers - and some of Clara's German-language numbers finally find a place here.
