Natural closeness - Linz's hidden aura
Nature photography by Rupert Kogler
Vernissage incl. photo lecture: 30 January., 6 pm (admission free)
Botanical Garden, seminar room
In the Upper Austrian central region, valuable near-natural biotopes and ecosystems have been preserved in some alluvial areas to this day. In intensively used and densely populated areas, significant and often hidden gems of largely uninfluenced nature can only be found not far from the provincial capital Linz.
With his nature photographs, Rupert Kogler wants to make this largely uninfluenced nature accessible to as many people as possible, at least visually, and raise awareness of its immeasurable value.
The photographic claim is primarily an aesthetic one, as a purely documentary image, for example of species, is often not sufficient without conveying atmosphere, mood and emotion.
