Vintage+Reprint Photo Fair Linz

The Tummelplatz Gallery is opening its doors for a small but special event centered on analog photography.

On display and available for purchase are vintage prints and reinterpreted—in some cases historical—photographs, printed and prepared as photo and fine art reprints.

In the accompanying exhibition, visitors will encounter Walter Bernhardt’s original vintage darkroom prints from the 1970s, which explore the theme of Vienna’s St. Marx Cemetery.

In addition to the exhibition, the vintage prints, and modern fine art reprints, an analog program awaits you this weekend.

On Friday at 7:00 p.m., the gallery will host a lecture titled “Light – Silver – Pixel – Print” by Herbert Weber.

On Saturday, also starting at 7:00 p.m., Dieter Deutsch will host an analog black-and-white slide evening titled “25 Years of Black-and-White Slide Photography.”

On Sunday at 4:00 p.m., Dr. Erik Diewald-Hagen will present his approach to “Collodion Wet-Plate Photography.”
