The varied program ranges from the intimacy of Clara and Robert Schumann to Mendelssohn's subtle songs to Johannes Brahms' folk-inspired songs and the deeply moving melodies of Antonín Dvořák. The Moravian duets by Leoš Janáček and his sonorous Sonata 1.X.1905 - From the Road are a particular highlight.
