I knew it—I overlooked something. So my favorite color has to go on my tax return after all. Lights out, hold my breath, freeze… are they gone? OK. Tiptoe over to the door. Like a seasoned outlaw, peek cautiously through the peephole… Oh, how cool! My package has arrived!”

In her third show, fAngst?, Elli Bauer shows how we humans dance with fear. Dancing around fear. Taking on others’ fear dances. But also how we can dance our way out of our fear again. How do I skillfully scratch an itchy spot—one you’re not supposed to scratch in public—without using my hands? How do I get back up from the floor after stumbling, looking cool and not at all embarrassed? How many times can I grab a slice of marble cake from the buffet so I don’t have to talk to anyone at the networking event? Let Elli take you by the hand and experience a Bachata of neuroses.
