Flashback: 1970. The news of the Beatles' breakup shocks the music scene, plunging millions of “Beatlemaniacs” around the globe into deep depression. Four years later, four young musicians in Frankfurt am Main decide to bring the Beatles' songs back to the stage "just for fun, alongside their studies and careers." They take the Fab Four's records and meticulously work out the finely crafted sound of the Liverpool legends.

Early 1976: The “Beat Boys from the Main” ventured into the spotlight on an average, cheerful Carnival evening at Frankfurt's “Sinkkasten.” For this occasion, they had come up with the name “The Beatles Revival Band.” At first bewildered, then playing wildly, suddenly found themselves transported back in time to Hamburg's “Starclub”: a yellow submarine floated through the music store, Sergeant Pepper danced rock ‘n’ roll, Eleanor Rigby served colorful drinks, and outside, in front of the door, the asphalt of Abbey Road folded down. Page one in the picture book of a career. It was like magic: the Beatles Revival Band came to life – and the Beatles were alive again.
