Steel & Sound – voestalpine Blasorchester

Under the musical direction of Alois Papst, the voestalpine Wind Orchestra invites you to a concert evening that impressively blends tradition and modernity.

As the musical ambassador for voestalpine at its Linz location, the ensemble has enjoyed an outstanding reputation for over six decades, extending far beyond the local brass band scene.

At its 46th concert at the Brucknerhaus in Linz, some 70 musicians in traditional miners’ costumes combine brass band tradition with contemporary—and even avant-garde—works, giving the company’s values a multifaceted musical expression.
