How to get to the Ranklleiten beer hotel in Pettenbach im Almtal:

We recommend travelling by public transport!

Travelling by train:
From Wels railway station (numerous connections from Wels station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101)) take the Almtalbahn (line 153) in the direction of Grünau im Almtal to the Steinbachbrücke stop;
Departure from Wels main station at 03:50 p.m. or 4:50 p.m.
Arrival at Steinbachbrücke station at 04:37 p.m. or 5:37 p.m. approx. 1 km walk to the Ranklleiten beer hotel (approx. 15 minutes) or the take the Salzkammergut shuttle service.

Return journey to Wels:
Depart Steinbachbrücke stop at 08:24 p.m., allow for a walk of approx. 15 minutes.
Arrival in Wels main station at 09:12 p.m., e.g. connection to the Railjet in the direction of Linz/Vienna at 09:16 p.m. right on the platform opposite.

With the Salzkammerut Shuttle Service Route 70 coming from Vorchdorf or Scharnstein, please call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 422 and order. Departure every full & half hour from 7:00 to 22:00 from the starting and end point!

By car:
Motorway A1 from Vienna - to Voralpenkreuz - or Inntal motorway A8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A9 on to A9 in direction exit Ried/Traunkreis or from Graz on the A9 to exit Ried/Traunkreis - Voitsdorf - Pettenbach - bypass in the direction of Scharnstein B120 - Bierhotel Ranklleiten
Motorway A1: Munich - Salzburg - Exit Regau - B145 to Gmunden - B120 in the direction of Scharnstein - in the direction of Pettenbach - Bierhotel Ranklleiten
