Visitors can explore the listed Villa Buchberg, which is decorated with historical paintings from the time of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and a ceramic relief of the Schliess family from Gmunden. In addition to this historic building, numerous objects from forestry education and research can be viewed. A themed tour on the history of forestry research and education in Austria provides exciting insights. Among other things, historical measuring instruments from the Imperial Forestry Research Institute in Mariabrunn and historical forestry tools, including chainsaws and hand tools, are on display.
