In the atmospheric guest garden, there will be both freshly tapped and spiked Eggenberg beer, homemade mulled beer and Christmas culinary delights from regional suppliers. St. Nicholas and the Perchten will also pay a visit to the Bieradvent.

How to get to the Beer Advent at the Eggenberg Brewery in Vorchdorf in the Traunsee-Almtal region:

We recommend travelling by public transport!

By train:

From Wels station to Lambach station, then take the Vorchdorferbahn (line 160) to Vorchdorf Eggenberg. Or from Gmunden, take the Traunseetram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl Bahnen to the Vorchdorf Schloss Eggenberg stop.

Numerous connections from Wels station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) to Linz/Vienna or Salzburg or to Passau (line 150) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn (line 170) towards Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee.

The brewery is only a few minutes' walk away.

By bus:

OÖVV bus lines 481 from Kirchdorf to Vorchdorf or 501 from Wels to Vorchdorf, Vorchdorf Eggenberg station stop.

Take the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 70 from Scharnstein station via Pettenbach to the Brauerei Schloss Eggenberg stop or from Almspitz on Route 80. Call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 422 to book.

By car:

Westautobahn A1 motorway: Munich – Salzburg – A1 Vorchdorf exit
Innkreis motorway A8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A1 - exit A1 Vorchdorf
From the motorway exit, take the Vorchdorf bypass towards Gmunden until you reach the entrance to the Eggenberg Castle Brewery.

From Gmunden, take the country road to the entrance; from Pettenbach, take the country road to the bypass towards Gmunden to the entrance of the Schloss Eggenberg brewery.

Please use only the designated and marked parking spaces diagonally opposite the Schloss Eggenberg brewery.
