Exhibition “Badeschluss” (End of Bathing), September 5–October 10, 2025, Seegrün Traunsee

PHOTO EXHIBITION “BADESCHLUSS” The Gmunden lido, built in 1927, served as an extraordinary location for the shoot. Spontaneous bathers wearing vintage bathing caps posed for the camera as models. Portraits and snapshots from everyday bathing life—a tribute to the Gmunden lido, its guests, and summer on Lake Traunsee—fitting for the “end of the bathing season” in early September. ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER Michael Wittig (born in 1964 in Thüste/Salzhemmendorf, Germany), photographer and artist, numerous projects and exhibitions since the early 2000s. Portrait photography is at the center of his work.
