He is known for his tremendous versatility and depth—whether on stage, in film (including “Mahler auf der Couch,” “Jud Süß,” and “Niemandsland”), or on television (“Soko Donau” and “Tatort”). With his warm, distinctive voice, he lends the Advent texts by Selma Lagerlöf, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Peter Rosegger, Theodor Storm, and others a new intensity—sensitive, evocative, and full of poetry.

He is accompanied by young, highly talented musicians from the Gmunden State Music School. With sensitive arrangements and delicate timbres, they weave music and words into a poetic whole—at times quiet and dreamy, at other times filled with quiet joy.
