When the days get shorter and the nights cooler, we celebrate St. Martin's Day - a festival of light, warmth and sharing.
At the zoo, this special evening becomes a luminous experience: after the story of St. Martin, everyone parades through the dark zoo with their brightly colored lanterns and our little lantern Lumina tells us her story of sharing.

A veritable sea of lights from colorful lanterns bathes the zoo in a magical atmosphere - an evening full of warmth, light and community.

If you bring your own lantern, please make sure it is an LED candle. Open fires are prohibited in the zoo. LED lights can also be purchased at the Zoo ticket office while stocks last.
