The Gschwandt Goldhauben, Kopftuch and Hutgruppe celebrates its 50th anniversary celebration.

8:45 a.m. Procession into the church with music.

9:00 a.m. Festive mass with retrospective.

Followed by agape and information stand.

How to get to Gschwandt in the Traunsee-Almtal region:

We recommend travelling by public transport!

By train:
from Attnang-Puchheim station to Gmunden station, then take the Traunsee Tram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Gschwandt-Schule stop, or from Vorchdorf Eggenberg. The stop is only a few metres away on foot.

Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn towards Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee.

By bike:
Gschwandt is also very easy to reach by bike. Cycle route from Gmunden to Vorchdorf via Gschwandt. The Traunviertel Tour, the R4 Traun Cycle Route and the R 2 Salzkammergut Cycle Route are therefore easily accessible from Gmunden. Follow the green signs.

By car:
Westautobahn A1 motorway: Vienna – Voralpenkreuz-A1 – A1 Laakirchen West exit – via Laakirchen to Gmunden Ost – ...
Westautobahn A1 motorway: Munich – Salzburg – A1 Regau exit – B145 to Gmunden, also coming from Bad Ischl on the B 145...
...before Gmunden, take the B120 east bypass towards Scharnstein, at the roundabout in Baumgarten take the third exit towards Vorchdorf or Gschwandt, coming from Scharnstein on the B120 take the first exit at the roundabout, after 700 metres on the right-hand side.
From Vorchdorf take the country road to Gschwandt, right in the centre.

Parking is available directly at the school or at the village square.
