The four artists of the Ateliergemeinschaft Fadingerstraße each invite another artist to a jointly curated exhibition - not as a simple juxtaposition, but as a further development of the individual works in the presentation.

The works - paintings, drawings, objects, textiles and graphics - are not presented in isolation. Instead, they intermingle in the space, stand next to each other, intersect and relate to each other. Unexpectedly, fragments from the studios also appear, previously unpresented artifacts that make the processes of creation tangible.

The curatorial decision not to separate the works, but to bring them into a new context, sets them and their stories in motion. This is a political and poetic statement: art is not created in a vacuum. It is always also friction, a question and a mirror.
