A harmless childhood joke has cost Lisa her house and farm, family and fans. Now, more than ever, she can do and say what she wants. She even has to. Because even a bad reputation is an obligation.
Lisa Eckhart: I used to be someone
A harmless childhood joke has cost Lisa Eckhart her house and farm, family and fans. She has nothing left to lose. Not even her sanity. Now, more than ever, she can do and say what she wants. She even has to. Because even a bad reputation is an obligation.
Merciless humor in an eccentric guise: Lisa Eckhart has taken the German cabaret scene by storm. Born in Styria, she performs her programs with self-confidence and black humour. Quick-witted and unconventional, she delights her fans.
Description
Lisa Lasselsberger, alias Lisa Eckhart, started out on the poetry slam stage. There she quickly inspired many spectators and won the Austrian Poetry Slam Championships in 2015. Inspired by the greats of literary history, from Goethe to Jelinek, she packs poetry, social criticism and cabaret into her original programs. She was particularly fond of Goethe's famous work Faust. The fact that she was particularly interested in the devil was already evident in the subject of her master's thesis, which dealt with the figure of the devil in German literature.
Lisa Eckhart is a phenomenon on stage. Always elegantly and glamorously dressed, sometimes in Gucci or Armani, sometimes in Versace, she performs her texts. Her cabaret solo debut "Als ob Sie Besseres zu tun haben" catapulted her into the ranks of the cabaret A-league. In addition to many other awards, she won the Austrian and German Cabaret Prize, the Prix Pantheon and the Salzburger Stier.
