Ian Bostridge & Europa Galante Lamento: Additional concert

When the Italian original sound ensemble Europa Galante, whose passionate, impulsive music-making puts it at the forefront of the early music scene worldwide, joins forces with Ian Bostridge, one of the most fascinating and renowned singers of our time, to bring works from the transition between the Renaissance and Baroque to the stage and thus focus on one of the most exciting periods in music history, an extraordinary concert experience can undoubtedly be expected. In addition to Claudio Monteverdi's breathtaking Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda and Sigismondo D'India's Lamento d'Orfeo , the program also includes instrumental works by Carlo Farina, Dario Castello and Girolamo Frescobaldi.
