With some of the most beautiful open-air cinema locations in the country, the summer cinema in and around Freistadt once again attracts visitors to the Mühlviertel in July and August with a selection of the best new releases and favorite films of the past year. The Braunberg with its distant views over the Mühlviertel hills to the Alps, Kefermarkt Castle Park under the walls of Weinberg Castle or the Salzgasse in the picturesque old town of Freistadt will literally become "locations" for the summer cinema screenings.
