Live in Gmunden - 20 years of Bilderbuch
Entry: 18:00
In the dazzling world of Bilderbuch, good vibes, colorful lights, and confetti blend into an electrifying atmosphere that effortlessly tips into an euphoric fairy tale. Their live performances are a true celebration for the senses, an experience that is not easily forgotten.
With the album "Schick Schock," a hybrid of 50 years of pop history, they conquered the annual charts in 2015, and the successor "Magic Life" cracked the Austrian and German top ten in 2017. "The best music of the time," states the Süddeutsche Zeitung. That was just a few years ago. One might think these songs are still fresh enough for an unforgettable party in Salzkammergut. But Bilderbuch are already two rounds ahead. The sky is open, and Maurice Ernst (vocals and guitar), Michael Krammer (guitar), Peter Horazdovsky (bass), and Philipp Scheibl (drums) create a vast experimental field, which they explored in all directions.
Founded in 2005 as a school band in Upper Austria, Bilderbuch is now one of the most successful Austrian pop acts in the German-speaking world. Eight albums later and with triumphant successes, they return to Upper Austria in 2025 to celebrate two decades of musical innovation at the sensational open-air location by Lake Traun.

With the digital double-release "mea culpa" and "Vernissage My Heart," Bilderbuch integrate soft psychedelic soul and art pop, and on their current album "Gelb ist das Feld," they indulge in 1970s rock music.
Between Zeitgeist Aphorisms, Dada and Checker Pose
This band can combine all styles today and much more – they always refine these new combinations with their pop sophistication, because Bilderbuch has such a strong signature that everything they do is ultimately one thing: Bilderbuch. This is largely due to the unique lyrics of Maurice Ernst, described by SPIEGEL as "shifting between zeitgeist aphorisms, Dada, and checker pose." And every time we think we've understood them, they are already somewhere else. For example, with the psychedelia of the current Bilderbuch LP "Softpower (Deluxe)." One thing is certain with every new Bilderbuch release: hits.
“I’m A Woman” – and ready to conquer Gmunden!
The evening opens with local talent Sodl. With her distinctive mix of poetic lyrics, explosive stage presence, and compelling songs, the 21-year-old, whose real name is Anja Sodnikar, has made a name for herself in the local music scene. Her latest single "I’m A Woman" once again shows that she has come to stay – with a voice that swings between fragile intimacy and powerful eruptions.
