The Stadl-Paura Boatmen’s Association is organising its annual Boatmen’s Festival on the River Traun near the Salzstadeln on 26 and 27 June 2026.

Saturday, 27 June 2026 | Boatmen’s Festival – Plätten Regatta

The Plätten Regatta traditionally starts at 4.00 pm.

Crews of six men and women will steer their Plätten through the designated course, competing for the fastest time.

There will once again be rankings in the mixed, women’s, youth and men’s team categories.

The Boating Club is once again hoping for a large and strong field of entrants.

Musical sensation on Saturday:

In the evening, the band “Die Niachtn” will be playing – an absolute highlight of this year’s festival!

This band has already performed at major events, including the legendary “Woodstock of Brass Music”, and is therefore considered a real sensation for the Schifferfest. If you’re interested, do have a listen on YouTube.

Look forward to a musical experience usually heard on the very biggest stages.

On Saturday, too, the evening will draw to a close in the party tent.
