Dear arts and culture professionals, event organisers and people interested in culture,

In Vorchdorf, we, a group of citizens and members of the Otelo cooperative, have launched the ‘Kulturvilla’ initiative as part of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024. We were and are supported by the market town of Vorchdorf, which provides 2 rooms and the kitchen in the Art Nouveau villa at Bahnhofstraße 13.

The ‘Kulturvilla Vorchdorf’ initiative is currently legally supported by the Otelo Verein Vorchdorf.

We would like to take the motto ‘Aufbruch Salzkammergut!’ to heart in the Kulturvilla - just like other cultural regulars' table organisers - and take the momentum from 2024 with us. We want to network even better within Salzkammergut 2024 and the Almtal region and further expand the contacts and ideas that have been established. We want to give you space to get to know each other (better), create shared images, coordinate activities - so that new projects can develop.

This Kultursalon in May has no programme - you are the programme! Come in a cosy mood, drinks are available almost at cost price, snacks can be brought by everyone.

Tell each other your stories, your impressions of exhibitions, performances, performances, ... what topics move you and what you would like to organise together with others in the region or where you are already working on. Just as it comes up.

If we like, we can also play music, and if the weather is fine, we can sit in the Villa garden under the beautiful lime tree.
