London Brass

Joy the world.

London Brass was founded in 1986 by members of the legendary Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and is one of the most traditional brass ensembles in the world. Since its foundation, the ensemble has lost nothing of its virtuosity and charming freshness. In recent decades, the brass ensemble has earned an outstanding reputation with concert tours and outstanding CD recordings (including with the Hanover Boys' Choir) in the UK and around the world.

For the Advent program "Joy To The World", London Brass has brought along classics such as excerpts from Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Vivaldi's "Winter", Corelli's "Pastorale", traditional Advent songs such as "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen", "In Dulci Jubilo", "Joy To The Wordl" "In The Belak Midwinter" as well as a medley of well-known American Christmas carols in new arrangements.
