Can We Skip To The Good Part?
This is the question that frames the Schlachthoffestival Traunsee 2025. It references the song “The Good Part” by the band AJR, which gained popularity, particularly through TikTok. Numerous videos can be found on social media that, in the spirit of the song excerpt, show moments before and after the arrival of the “Good.” In this context, we want to depict an ambivalence in our art festival. The question of what is good, the desire for change, and dreamed utopias are hardly separable from today.
