Day of brass music at the Urfahranermarkt

Traditions are lived at the Urfahr Spring Market. Linz brass bands celebrate the Day of Brass Music on the fairgrounds as the crowning glory of the fair season.

Traditions are lived at the Urfahr Spring Market. Linz brass bands celebrate the Day of Brass Music on the fairgrounds as the crowning glory of the fair season. Between the performances in the marquee, musical attractions will be presented on various rides at 12 noon, 1 pm and 2 pm.

At 11 a.m. the Bundesbahnmusik Linz will take a musical tour of the grounds and at 11.30 a.m. traditional brass music will be played in the marquee. At 12 noon the Linz AG Musik starts at the Crazy Ride and at 12.30 p.m. goes on a tour of the grounds and from 1 p.m. entertains with Schlager in the marquee.

The Bundesbahnmusik can be heard at 1 pm at the Hully Gully. The Kleinmünchen music band can be found at the Kettenflieger at 2.00 pm, goes on a tour at 2.30 pm and plays modern tunes in the marquee at 3.00 pm. This spectacle is organized by the Upper Austrian Wind Music Association, with active support from the showmen and women.
