It may be that everything ends Tour 2025.
The new and third album by the Viennese fast lane madness band Leftovers is called: “It can be that everything ends”. A good title, but one that by no means applies to the band itself, which has grown up in the best possible way with this album - and at the same time continues to burn brightly. The new album is the most collaborative Leftovers music to date. All four have written lyrics, sung, everything merges and reinforces each other. You often don't know who is singing or doing what, but it doesn't matter: everything on this startlingly stunning album is Leftovers.
The band didn't actually want to record a new album this year. Not again! After countless concerts and two albums in as many years, they wanted to take things a little more relaxed. Release one or two EPs, maybe a song here and there, just put out what's ready. But things turned out quite differently.
The new songs are about goodbyes, the hole that loved ones leave behind - and suddenly it becomes clear that this band has only marginally anything to do with the juvenile Sturm und Drang leftovers of two years ago. “Es kann sein, dass alles endet” has a depth, a substance, an emotional openness that takes your breath away. So here's the nasty word: Leftovers have grown up. In the best and most mature way imaginable.
