Baroque Ensemble "Con Alcuna Licenza" - Three upon a ground

The Baroque ensemble CON ALCUNA LICENZA was founded in 2001 by Claudia Woldan.
In various small ensembles, as well as in its expanded orchestral form, the ensemble has performed numerous concerts and collaborated with renowned choirs and conductors in Austria and Germany. Most recently, the orchestra performed alongside the Chor-i-feen on May 2 in Rohrbach. The spectacular evening left a lasting impression on everyone involved and the audience.

Claudia Woldan will perform at Piberstein Castle with the ensemble’s current small-scale lineup, which has been in place since 2022. The ensemble features tenor Christian Havel, harpsichordist Christine Neudorfer, and gambist Claudia Leitenbauer. The ensemble’s programs captivate with a wide variety of timbres and include both rare pieces and familiar works. This time, the program will feature music from England spanning the Renaissance to the High Baroque.
