The motto of the Vienna-based musician is: Girls support Girls! Her community loves her not only for her music, but also for her honest and encouraging lyrics.

With over 770k followers on TikTok, over 105k subscribers on Instagram and songs that break the million mark on Spotify, Austrian Sandra Hesch is one of the most promising creators and musicians in the German-speaking world.

Her community includes a large number of young people to whom she offers a platform for dialogue - not least because the lyrics of her songs address topics that are more akin to a conversation between close friends: "For me, it's primarily about empowerment - girls support girls! I just love writing songs with lyrics that encourage my community and give them more self-confidence. Of course, it's also about heartbreak and self-doubt, but also about opening up when you're going through a difficult time."

The 22-year-old draws inspiration for this from her own life: "For me, songwriting is almost like writing a diary - I use it to process topics that concern me in my daily life, whether they are positive or negative things. Of course, I'm really happy when people contact me or write to me to say that a song has helped them get over a break-up or that my music has given them a bit more self-confidence."

In addition, Sandra has also been part of major campaigns against sexual abuse or the dangers of knockout drugs in the past: "I also use my platforms to talk about things that are unfortunately often hushed up. I want to shed light on topics that people don't like to talk about. To remove taboos."

The Vienna-based singer-songwriter has big plans for the coming months when it comes to new music: "It's definitely going to stay poppy. It will remain girly. But after a few songs about break-ups, I'm now looking forward to more positive sessions to give myself and others the courage to fall in love with life again and to regain confidence after disappointment! In this context, I am also very excited to work with new people. For example, I'll soon be travelling to Berlin for a few days."

The popular singles "Taylor Swift", "You Problem" and "Type" will also be available to hear live soon, perhaps with unreleased new material in my luggage! "More than anything, I'm looking forward to finally being able to perform my music on stage again. Especially the exchange on stage is just super nice and gives me a lot!"
