"This is not a political drama, it is a human one that has a lot to say about love, life, growing old and the end of a path. The film is always profound, but also enjoyable. Sorrentino manages the feat of making 133 minutes fly by. His narrative is unagitated, which also includes the often expressionless face of his star Toni Servillo. The president has lost his passion, as is probably always the case in old age, but perhaps he has found something else, in any case his penchant for modern music and rap in particular. It's great how he honors an Italian rapper with an award.
