The chamber music series of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz. At the Palais Kaufmännischer Verein.

Without merely indulging in the past, we seek out our musical origins in our chamber music series. After all, according to the violinist and conductor Sándor Végh, a chamber music ensemble is not a shrunken orchestra, but an orchestra in reverse, merely an expanded chamber music ensemble.

At MOSAIK, we present ourselves to you in the intimate setting offered by the Palais Kaufmännischer Verein for the 25.26 season. Which, as far as the city's musical life is concerned, also represents a kind of return. Inasmuch as the splendid townhouse of the Linz merchants was for years and decades the Linz concert venue for chamber music par excellence and only lost this significance with the opening of the Brucknerhaus. Following on from this tradition, we are once again performing great music in small format with slim, variable ensembles.
