Christmas Oratorio by Johann Sebastian Bach

A very special concert in the festively decorated Mondsee Basilica on December 20, 2026 at 6 p.m. promises the perfect way to get in the mood for Christmas Eve;

The "Christmas Oratorio" by Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the outstanding works of the Western musical tradition and tells the story of the birth of Jesus Christ in festive and intimate sounds.

Performers: Veronika Mair, soprano, Tamara Obermayr, alto, Jan Hofstetter, tenor, Benjamin Sattlecker, bass. (Cast subject to change.
Under the direction of Gottfried Holzer-Graf, together with the St. Michael's choir, they will provide an evening full of musical highlights.
