Verklärungen is an interdisciplinary performance and contemporary choreography inspired by Arnold Schönberg's string sextet "Verklärte Nacht" op.The work is based on Richard Dehmel's poem of the same name and combines music, movement and atmosphere to create an immersive experience.

Verklärungen leads us into a cold, moonlit night - into a forest in which the whispering of a woman's voice can be heard. As she whispers her unease to us, we find ourselves at the crossroads of social conventions and expectations, which ultimately prove to be a burden. When the night finally turns, we are left with a moment of quiet realization: compassion and love as forces that change and connect us.
