The HAND.WERK.HAUS has been on the international UNESCO list of "good practice examples for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage" since December 1, 2016.

A guided tour of the house

Here you will find an interesting mix of old walls and modern architecture, lots of craftsmanship and culture under one roof.

In the fascinating two-storey exhibition, you can experience a breathtaking variety of living crafts - a real highlight!

The masterpieces and objects are well worth seeing!
They range from little houses with a feel-good and living room character to loden shoes, staghorn glasses and leather trousers to box windows and coffee roasted on a wood fire.

And the best thing about it: there are also stories and interesting facts about our traditional businesses in the region, some of which have been around for 200 years!
