Here you can see the site of the Anzenaumühle mill with its main building, barn and mill in the village of Anzenau near Lauffen, where the historic main building with its white façade and wooden roof is surrounded by green meadows. A small water wheel turns next to a barn. Flowers adorn the windows and steps, with dense woodland behind.

In this photo you can see the Heimat- und Landlermuseum in Bad Goisern, after the general renovation in 2014. It is a typical Salzkammergut house, the façade is painted yellow and the roof is dark red. A green sign with the museum's inscription is attached to the front. There is also a trellis tree directly on the façade, which is a special feature in our region. On the right is a staircase and the typical veranda in yellow and dark red.

Today, the town of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt in the heart of the Inner Salzkammergut invites you to the Long Museum Day .

Our three museums open their doors on this day until the evening hours - immerse yourself in the history of the Inner Salzkammergut.

Anzenaumühle Adventure Museum: 700 years of history: miller, sawmill, black baker and plaster tamper and special exhibition "Rock paintings and carvings by Dr. Helga Reisenauer"

Heimat- und Landlermuseum: special exhibition "Bsunane Leit", folk culture, history and crafts of the Goiserer and Landler people

Salzkammergut Woodcutters' Museum: Forestry in the Salzkammergut, "The meagre life of the woodcutters"
