How are we knitted?

16.05.2026 / 16:00- 17:00 (Further dates)
Linz, Zirkus des Wissens
Theater

An anatomical theatre of a different kind. In German language.

We want to explore the fascinating inner world of the human miracle - in a completely different way than usual: the common thread of our journey of discovery through the jungle landscape of our organs is formed by the lovingly and anatomically correct woollen objects knitted by doctor and anthropologist Katharina Sabernig. Beautiful, fascinating, attractive! In this piece, these anatomical works of art are brought to life. Science communication in vivid images, objects, sounds and emotions!

Have you always wanted to go to thymus school with a white blood cell, meet the queen of hearts, surf the bloodstream and be there live when our immune cell heroes put nasty invaders in their place with ingenious tricks? Do you love immersing yourself in new worlds? Are you between 6 and 106 years old? Then save your seat for this anatomical theatre journey that is sure to get under your skin!

For ages 6 and up.
