St. Florian Bruckner Festival: International Bruckner Congress St. Florian

This congress, jointly organised by the Bruckner Society of America and the St. Florian Bruckner Festival, brings together a group of leading Bruckner scholars and experts from across Europe and America to share the latest findings from their research and studies. Topics range from source studies, performance practice and reception history to musical analysis. We look forward to welcoming everyone who loves Bruckner's music, whether enthusiast or connoisseur, to this fascinating and stimulating lecture series.

We are delighted that this year we are able to hold the World Congress of the American Bruckner Society together with the symposium of the annual Bruckner Dimensions. It is a great honour for us to host the world's leading Bruckner researchers at St. Florian Abbey from 20 to 23 August 2024 as part of our festival. In a total of 25 lectures, we will be able to experience at first hand the latest findings in Bruckner research as well as suggestions for further ideas and research projects. It is a special sign if this inspiration can come from St. Florian, the place where Bruckner himself received decisive inspiration for his musical career. The congress is accessible to everyone and open to all interested parties.
