A free hop-on hop-off Christmas train runs between the five Christmas and winter markets during Advent.
From November 21 to December 20, 2026, the well-known yellow train will be decorated for Christmas and make its rounds through the city of Linz every half hour from Friday to Sunday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with free boarding at each of the five Christmas and winter markets.The stops are marked with stop signs:
