The "Forum Wehrgeschichte Oberösterreich" association, founded in 2021, has set itself the goal of making a valuable contribution with a critical presentation of military history in Upper Austria. The extensive collections, from the Napoleonic Wars to the present day, are to be made permanently accessible to the interested public in a building in the former Hiller barracks in the new Sommerfeld district.
