ORIGINS - a journey from Celtic sounds to Antonio Vivaldi, Béla Bartók, Igor Stravinsky, Manuel de Falla & Astor Piazzolla

Lucie Horsch is regarded as "one of the most remarkable talents of her generation". The 25-year-old from the Netherlands is attracting international attention for her virtuoso yet incredibly versatile musicianship on the recorder. As a child, she was practically born with this talent from her musician parents. She received a first-class education and won numerous prestigious prizes. She now performs with ensembles such as the "Academy of Ancient Music" and makes guest appearances at top-class festivals such as the "Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik" and the "Rheingau Musik Festival". She was a soloist at the farewell concert of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. Lucie Horsch will be accompanied by violinist Emmy Storms and guitarist Raphael Feuillâtre at her performance in Lambach and the audience can look forward to more than just classical flute music: the Origins Trio also surprises again and again with pop and jazz numbers as well as Celtic sounds and compositions inspired by folk music.
