Afternoon concert - SZ Big Band Turnverein Bad Hall

We are a colorful mix of musicians from a wide range of age groups who are united by the joy of music and, above all, of making music themselves. We rehearse together once a week on Friday evenings, and the individual instrument groups sometimes meet for additional practice sessions. Music makes us happy, and that's why we're so enthusiastic. Being part of such a great community makes us proud!

Our program is as colourful and diverse as we are. We play typical dance music such as waltz, cha cha, boogie and rock'n'roll. When pieces with the sound of Glenn Miller are played, it's swing time. The SZ Big Band also plays songs by the Beatles and Udo Jürgens, well-known film melodies and much more.

In addition to regular rehearsals, our activities include performances at dance events, company parties, summer festivals and the like. Fixed points in our annual schedule are the musical organization of the carnival sessions of the Bad Haller Carneval Club and our traditional Mother's Day concert, which takes place every year on the Saturday before Mother's Day in the Trinkhalle Bad Hall. We also take part in gymnastics festivals and compete with other groups in music competitions.
