Permaculture - gardening in the family system

Once we know which plants belong in which group of vegetables, cultivation becomes very simple. Essentially, for 10,000 years we have only selected our vegetables from 10 plant families. If we know which "house" it comes from, we can provide much more precise care and achieve success in a completely relaxed manner.

The respective vegetable families have favorite neighbors. They protect each other from predators, support root growth, the taste is fuller, they ripen better and can be stored for much longer. In addition, the families support each other as they grow, cover the soil, cast shade, make perfect use of the space in the bed, protect and fertilize each other. Permaculture provides numerous tips on how we can harvest well with few resources (water, fertilizer, soil, time, energy) and feed ourselves well (and tasty).
