Linz Guitar Festival 2026

The Linz Guitar Festival once again offers Austrian and international artists a platform to present the various facets of guitar art to interested listeners. The mixture of well-known guitar virtuosos and up-and-coming talents has characterized the festival, founded by Marcus Doneus, for years and is not only worth seeing and hearing for die-hard guitar fans.

On Friday evening, Thomas Leeb (AT/US), Sophie Chassée (DE) and the winners of Prima La Musica Florentina Haick and Katharina Antoni will open the festival. The German YouTube star Sophie Chassée and the groovy and melodic Thomas Leeb are both a guarantee for a brilliant and varied evening.

On the Saturday of the festival, Adam Rafferty (US), Kristina Vårlid (NO) and Christian Zack (DE) will ensure a great evening. Kristina Vårlid is considered one of the figureheads of Norwegian classical guitar and is known for her exceptional artistry and emotional depth in music. Both Christian Zack, who hails from Germany, and Adam Rafferty, who is world-famous on YouTube and various social media, are two established representatives of the fingerstyle scene whose captivating performances regularly win the hearts of their audiences both at home and abroad.
