Legends, stories and their historical background give you an insight into the lives and thoughts of our ancestors.

Dwarves, witches, giants and other mythical figures populate the legendary world of the Salzkammergut. The desire for gold and wealth preoccupied people just as much as some then inexplicable natural phenomena.

During a leisurely hike across the Feuerkogel plateau, you will hear the corresponding legends, myths and stories from the Höllengebirge, Lake Traunsee and Ebensee at five stations.

Registration is not necessary, the event only takes place in good weather.
Start of the hike: 09:30 am
Duration approx. 2 to 2.5 hours
The legend hike is family-friendly, the explanations will be given in German.
