Family tour through the zoo in the dark, in german language
Which animals sleep standing up or with their eyes open? Who sleeps only five minutes a night and who sleeps for 22 hours straight? What do nocturnal animals do when they are not sleeping and can animals actually dream? You will also find out together with us what our native bats do at night. Ultrasound detectors are used to locate the calls of free-living bats on the zoo grounds and convert them into sounds that we humans can hear. An exciting insight into the nocturnal life of these extraordinary animals is guaranteed.
