Such a retreat leads us into the world of non-doing, silence and relaxation. We give all our attention to this special quality of stillness and this deeply unfamiliar state-space in order to consciously experience the inner balance that gradually emerges, which we would like to call coherence at this point. An experience that we have simply forgotten, but which is always available within us. In order to stay in coherence for longer, we use various meditations and breathing exercises. Because this coherence space is the space of our selfhood and we experience ourselves in it as an actual being in the here and now, in the truthfulness of existence.
You will spend this time almost completely in silence. With the exception of the daily individual discussions, in which questions and topics that arise during the silence and meditation can be named and explored in depth, you will be in self introspection. We recommend avoiding any distractions such as reading, writing, digital devices, etc. At the beginning and end of the seminar there will be an open space for questions, sharing and exchanging experiences.
The individual practice phases (sitting, lying down and mindful yoga exercises) rarely last longer than 30 minutes, which you will experience embedded in a cycle of 90 minutes. The morning active meditation sessions last 60 minutes and alternate between movement, breathing and stillness. In addition to the detailed instructions for the respective meditations, short lectures dealing with the everyday challenges of our lives will further structure this seminar.
Sustainability
Our silence courses lead into the practice of meditation and mindfulness. Many insights from current consciousness research are incorporated into the course content and thus transcend traditions and denominations. Our approaches serve to stabilize insights and integrate them into a lively everyday life. For those experienced in meditation, they can serve to deepen their own practice. They also offer valuable tips for all those who work professionally with meditation and mindfulness.
