HYPO New Year's Eve Run Linz 2026

It’s as much a part of Linz as the Danube—the New Year’s Eve Run! For many years now, it has been the traditional way to wrap up the year and the largest New Year’s Eve fun run in Upper Austria.

In 2026, more than 1,200 runners aged 3 to 99 will once again bid farewell to the old year in style with a run through the city center. Kids’ races, a fun run (3 km), and the main 6 km race will once again draw many people in costume and creative costume designers to the main square!
