When the days get shorter and the nights cooler, we celebrate St. Martin's Day - a festival of light, warmth and sharing.
At the zoo, this special evening becomes a luminous experience: after the story of St. Martin, everyone parades through the dark zoo with their brightly colored lanterns and our little lantern Lumina tells us her story of sharing.

A veritable sea of lights from colorful lanterns bathes the zoo in a magical atmosphere - an evening full of warmth, light and community.

So that everyone can be part of the St. Martin's procession with a shining lantern, there is the opportunity to make your own lantern at the zoo. If you bring your own lantern, please make sure it has LED candles. Open fires are prohibited in the zoo. LED lights can also be purchased at the zoo ticket office while stocks last.

Equipped with a lantern, all those interested can then continue to the St. Martin's festival at the zoo from 16:00.
