Summer concert with Karin Leitner

On August 9th, 2025, a summer concert "Favorite Melodies" will take place in the parish church of Nußdorf am Attersee at 8 pm, with the flutist Karin Leitner and the harpist Judith Schiller.

Karin Leitner performs worldwide as a soloist and with chamber music partners.
She has performed with the Vienna State Opera Stage Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra London and has also played with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Irish Chamber Orchestra and in the London West End productions of Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.
Karin has taught at Melbourne University and Dundalk College, Ireland, giving masterclasses and workshops worldwide, including for underprivileged children in South Africa through the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.
Ms. Leitner has performed at the Vienna Film Ball, the video has more than 34 million clicks.
She has received a composition prize from the City of Vienna and was "Composer in Residence" in Tehran as well as a jury member at the national competition Prima La Musica. United Nations has awarded her a prize for special services for concerts during the civil war in Nepal.

Judith Schiller - Harp

Born and raised in Vienna, Judith graduated with honors from the Conservatory of the City of Vienna. She then studied for two trimesters at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome.
She was a soloist with orchestras such as the Prague Smetana Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Tonkunstvereinigung and others;
She has recorded a solo CD: "Angelic Sounds of the Harp for Dreaming"
Her busy orchestral activities (harpist of the Divertimento Viennese, Stadttheater Baden, Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Bruckner Orchestra Linz, Ballhaus Orchestra) have taken her on many tours worldwide.
Judith loves chamber music projects and specializes in duo playing, mainly with flute, cello, violin or voice.
She teaches at the Franz Schubert Music School in Hinterbrühl and organizes creative concert projects for children and families
