Raising the Maypole
Traditionally, a maypole is erected every year on April 30th in many parts of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt.
The annual erection with the ribbon-decorated wreaths on the maypole is a traditional celebration for locals and guests.
The donated maypole is traditionally erected by hand with the help of long poles.
