Easter Sunday service

In Christian faiths this is the festival commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ who, according to the New Testament, as the son of God surmounted death. It is the most important day in the church calendar. Easter Sunday marks the end of Lent. It is the first Sunday after the first new moon in spring. This means the earliest date an Easter Sunday can fall on is 22nd March and the latest the 25th April.
