On August 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., the traditional mountain mass of the Austrian Alpine Association Mondsee will take place with Pastor Dr. Ernst Wageneder and Prelate Johann Holzinger, as well as musical accompaniment by the Mondsee Citizens' Music Band. The inauguration of the new Schafberg cross will also take place during the 2026 mountain mass.
Experience a special kind of church service.
The mass takes place in all weathers.
